Post-Waxing Care Instructions
To help your skin heal properly and reduce the chance of irritation or ingrown hairs, please follow these aftercare tips. If you have any concerns or questions about the products mentioned, consult your physician or dermatologist before use.
Within the First 24 Hours
Please avoid the following:
- Saunas
- Swimming pools
- Jacuzzis
- Tanning or sun bathing
- Exfoliating the skin
- Lotion or lubricants
- Working out
Others that you might concern
You may shower after 3 hours — just avoid using soap on the waxed areas.
If you feel sore or tender, you may apply a small amount of Neosporin to soothe the skin.
After 24 Hours
- Exfoliate daily using a bath loofah and antibacterial soap. This basic exfoliation helps prevent ingrown hairs — exfoliation is your best friend! 😊
[Click here for more exfoliation techniques.] - Use Stridex pads once a day for 3–4 days to keep the area clean and help prevent bumps.
- If ingrown hairs appear (usually 3–4 weeks after waxing):
- Use Stridex again for 3–4 days if the ingrown hair is mild.
- Use Tend Skin if the ingrown area is more severe.
- If itching occurs:
- Apply Cortisone-10 cream to calm the skin.
