Post Waxing Care
The following are some skin care after-waxing tips and recommendations on what to do /use if your skin has reactions. Please consult your physician or dermatologist if you have any questions or concerns about any of these products we recommend before using them.
Within 24 hours
- Pre-cautions: NO sauna, NO swimming pool, NO Jacuzzi, NO skin exfoliation, NO tanning, NO Lotion/Lubricants and NO workout.
- Shower is fine (3 hours later), and please no soap.
- For Brazilian: apply Neosporin if feeling sore/tender.
After 24 hours
- EXFOLIATE the skin daily using bath loofa and anti-bacterial soap (the most basic way of exfoliation). Exfoliation is your best friend😊 to prevent ingrown hair.Click here for more techniques to exfoliate the skin.
- Keep using Stridex at least once a day for 3-4 days
- Whenever ingrown hair appears(normally 3–4weeks), please use Stridex again for 3-4 days if the ingrown hair is minor. Please use Tend Skin if the ingrown hair is more serious.
- Cortisone-10 cream might be used if feeling itchy.
